18 Months - 3 Years
Our Early Head Start classroom promotes learning, exploration, independence, positive relationships, and a strong sense of belonging, helping every child grow, learn, and thrive.
Our Enrollment Process:Â
The Path to Early Head Start
To ensure every child receives the best possible start, all families applying for Early Head Start must first participate in our Home-Based Program.
Early Head Start Classroom Promotes:
-
Social-Emotional Development:Â Children learn to express and manage their emotions, develop secure relationships, interact with others, and begin to understand and respond to the feelings of others.

-
Cognitive Development:Â Children develop curiosity, explore their environment, make connections, solve simple problems, and learn through hands-on experiences and play.

-
Language and Communication:Â Children build vocabulary, listen and respond to others, communicate their needs and ideas, participate in conversations, and develop early communication skills.

-
Independence and Self-Help Skills:Â Children are encouraged to make choices, attempt tasks independently, participate in routines, and develop age-appropriate self-care skills.

-
Creativity and Self-Expression:Â Children have opportunities to express themselves through art, music, movement, dramatic play, sensory experiences, and other forms of creative exploration.

-
Cooperation and Respect:Â Children begin to develop positive interactions with peers and adults, practice turn-taking and sharing, participate in group experiences, and learn to care for themselves, others, and their classroom environment.

-
Confidence and Self-Esteem:Â Children develop a sense of competence and belonging when their ideas, efforts, cultures, interests, and individual strengths are recognized and valued.
Our Commitment to Families
-
We partner with families to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported. Together, we encourage children to explore, build relationships, express themselves, and develop confidence and independence. We support each child’s growth and learning in alignment with the ELOF (Early Learning Outcomes Framework).
