Preschoolers are eager learners, exploring their world with curiosity and excitement.
Our program builds upon their natural interests by incorporating early literacy, math, science, and creative expression into their daily routines. Through play-based learning, children develop essential problem-solving skills, creativity, and lasting social connections.

Our Locations & Partnerships:

We are proud to serve our community through two specialized centers, working in close collaboration with local school districts to provide high-quality early education:

  • Robert C. Grant Center (Morris Plains): Located in Morris Plains, this center operates in partnership with the Morris School District.

  • Dover Headquarters: We work in collaboration with the Dover Public School District.

Note for families: In addition to our district partnerships, we also provide services to families and children who reside in Morris County. The Dover Center also offers subsidy classrooms for eligible families who reside in Morris County.

Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum® is a research-based early childhood curriculum that builds children’s confidence, creativity, and critical-thinking skills through hands-on, project-based investigations. Through thoughtful implementation, teachers help lay the foundation for lifelong learning. The Creative Curriculum is grounded in five fundamental principles:

  • Positive interactions and relationships with adults provide children with a critical foundation for successful learning.

  • Social-emotional competence is a significant factor in children’s success in school and throughout their development.

  • Constructive and purposeful play supports essential learning and allows children to develop skills through meaningful experiences.

  • The physical environment influences the quality and type of learning interactions and experiences children have each day.

  • Strong teacher-family partnerships promote children’s development, learning, and overall success.

Documenting and Sharing Children’s Progress:

Teachers document and monitor children’s development and learning through ongoing observations, documentation, and Teaching Strategies GOLD® Objectives for Development & Learning. This information helps teachers individualize instruction, plan meaningful learning experiences, and track each child’s progress over time. Teachers partner with families by sharing children’s progress and discussing developmental goals during parent-teacher conferences and home visits three times throughout the program year, creating opportunities for families and teachers to work together to support each child’s continued growth and development.
